Jones Enoch was only Enoch in Sullivan Co. old enough to be Malinda's
father, certainly possible he was her grandfather. From census
records it is obvious that Jones married twice a Mahala (23 years
younger) with young children, when he was in his 80's, or
he has a son's widow, with her family, living with him. Jones
died at the age of
95 yrs, 8 months and 24 days. Buried: Pleasantville United
Methodist Church Cemetery (difficult to read stone) 10/5/1874 (?)
