Generation 1

Thomas Ferguson, b. est. 1728 d. es. 1762 Md. (?) married Elizabeth Leacock (Laycock) widow.  Elizabeth married (3) Wm Kester 1762. She died 1805-1810 Spencer Co. Ky.

Generation 2

Samuel Ferguson served in General Anthony Wayne army. Served as a private in Capt. Samuel Cunninghams Comp. 2nd Batalion, Washington Co. Pa. Militia.  Born in Lancaster Co. Pa., 6/5/1758.  He married first Elizabeth Anderson 8-17-1779 at or near Patterson's Creek Va. (Now W.Va.).  Records of Rev.  Thaddeus Dodd.  Elizabeth Anderson Ferguson died in Washington Co. Pa. Samuel moved to Nelson Co. Ky.. There he married Elizabeth Crooks Blue on aug 12,1786 or 1788.  They had eleven children.  Samuel Ferguson died in Butler Co. Oh. in Feb 2, 1814 of the cold plague.  Elizabeth Crooks Blue Ferguson married a John Dennis.   In 1820 she and most of the 11 children moved to Marion Co. In..  She died in Oct. 1865 at the age of 96.  Samuel's parents were Thomas Ferguson and Elizabeth Leacock.
Samuel died in 1814 leaving a will which was contested in 1826 in Butler Co. Ohio by Thomas Ferguson et al vs Elizabeth Dennis.

Generation 3

Athol Ferguson served in the War of 1812 from Butler Co. Oh.   He volunteered for Fort Hamilton on the 1st day of May 1813 , for the term of 4-5 months and in service for about 311 days.  He was married initially to a Sarah (unknown) and second to Rebecca (Paddock) Payne widow of Elijah Payne in Sullivan Co., In. by Joseph Thompson on 4/8/1827  Rebecca Paddock Paine Ferguson was living in Ogle Co. Ill. when she made the warrant for Bounty Land.  Rebecca was the sister of Ebenezer Paddock Jr..
In 1814 Athol Ferguson and Sarah his wife were living in Green Co. Oh.
