Generation 1

Thomas Roseberry was born October 31, 1752 in Ulster Co. Ireland, and died 1844 in Jefferson Co. In.  He married Catherine Earhart Abt. 1790 in Lancaster, Pa.  She was born August 08, 1778 in Lancaster, Pa.

Notes for Thomas Roseberry:  John and Nancy (Roseberry) Chambers moved to Sullivan Co.IN. in 1851 from Clear Creek Twp., Monroe Co. In..  They are buried at Deckard Cemetery.  Thomas Roseberry immigrated from Belfast, Ulster, Ireland to Lancaster, Pa., about the close of the American Revolution.  Shortly after his marriage to Catherine Earhart he moved to near Newton, Clermont Co. Oh., not far from the mouth of the Big Miami River.
His father-in-law is said to have accompanied him.  In 1811, he bought land in Graham Twp., Jefferson Co. In..  In 1812 Thomas erected a large hewed log house on a high clift over looking the South Fork of the Muscatatuck River, commonly known as "Big Creek".

Catherine Earhart's family is not known.  George Earhart had land adjacent to John Roseberry in Hamilton Co. Anderson Twp..  1806 and 1810 Ohio tax list, has a George and John as only 2 Earhart's.  1820 Ohio Census both have ages 26-45?  Which is her father is not known.

Generation 2

Nancy Roseberry was born November 07, 1794 in Oh., and died February 21, 1864 in Sullivan Co. In.  She married John Chambers Abt. 1815 in Anderson Co. Ky, son of John Chambers and Margaret Feamster.  He was born Abt. 1794 in Ky, and died 1865 in Sullivan Co. In.
